The Summer School
Workshops constitute a central core in the residency, working at once as moments of presentation and exchange among the residency fellows, as well as learning opportunity for local musicians and students. Workshops are structured so that theory and technique can be grounded in practice.
Participants will be able to directly experiment with the musicians, play and work with them in an open and interdisciplinary dialogue that spans from composition to performance, from production to recording and distribution. Participants also share convivial moments with the guest artists and are involved in different performances open to the public. Often musicians are involved in public conversations with other artists, professors and specialists of different disciplines.
